Yes, it’s snowing in Vermont and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We’ve spruced up the place with new dishes in the dining room, a new cookery set in the kitchen and new futons and new curtains up in the loft. We've also added High Speed Internet access and unlimited Streaming Netflix along with Pandora.
Also new is our ability to offer our guests shorter stays this year! While the weekly and monthly rates are still the best bargains, we do offer nightly rates now with a 3 night minimum and for January 2011, we’re offering a discount of $50 per night off the non-holiday nightly rates! We are already booked for most of the winter season, but for the 4 weeks of winter still available in January we’re offering discounts on our nightly stays. Burke Mountain Resort reports all 4 lifts running with 36 trails now open for downhill skiers and boarders. Kingdom Trails has a couple of Nordic trails open and ready for cross country skiers. And if you really want to get off the beaten track, the trails around Heart Winds House have been cleared of debris as far as the Burke Mountain Base lodge, but have not yet been groomed so they're perfect for intrepid snowshoers.
